Clement delighted to extend Rangers contract until 2028.

Rangers FC manager Philippe Clement has agreed a new contract that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2027-28 football season.

Clement joined Rangers in October last year and led the team to Scottish League Cup glory in his first season. UFABET

“I have a very open and honest relationship with the board. Every meeting we have you can feel the passion. The desire to improve the club and that’s the same feeling I have,” he told Rangers TV.

“I fell in love with the club, the fans, the atmosphere in the stadium and the city.”

“I see great potential and now we need to make the club better, stronger in all areas.”

“That’s our goal. We all consider ourselves partners in that.” 

Rangers open their Scottish Premiership campaign at Hearts this weekend (August 3 ) with a  four – game winless run in the 2024 pre – season .  

“I look forward to meeting the players over the next few days and our supporters at home to Hibernian next Saturday. As we set out together to build a successful and winning Rangers team.” Clement said.

Clement previously played in England for Coventry City between 1998 and 1999. While he made 38 appearances for Belgium, scoring once, before taking over as manager at Club Brugge in 2012.
