Davies driving licence revoked for 1 month for drink driving

Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies has had his driving licence revoked by the German government for a month. After being found guilty of drink-driving last week.

On Thursday, the 24-year-old Canadian international was pulled over by Munich police in the early hours of the morning. And tested positive for alcohol at 60 milligrams per cent.

Davies started for Bayern in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund. Bayern manager Vincent Kompany confirmed to สมัคร ufabet. Before the game Saturday there had been an incident involving Davies and that he would be sanctioned internally.

German law prohibits driving if your blood alcohol level is over 50 milligrams per cent, but it is a criminal offence to do so if it is over 80 milligrams per cent.

Davies escaped arrest and had a friend drive him home. However, he did not escape disciplinary action.

In addition to having his licence revoked for a month. Davies was also deducted two points from the German sporting system and fined €5,000.

Despite his minor legal problems, Davies has remained a regular for the Bavarians, playing a full match in the Bundesliga match at Borussia Dortmund last weekend.
